Fired Up Autos clearly enjoy what they do - as a result they are very good at it!
Their enthusiasm and talent for restoring old (& new) vehicles convinced me that they were the experts to take on my 1967 Morris Traveller.
My car was in a terrible state - having been badly restored by slick operators who had bodged and attempted to conceal their substandard work. It was unsafe to drive and I had been ripped off so I commissioned Adam & Rich to unpick & expose the substandard work, including having to sand and retreat the new woodwork, and keep a record of their findings. Undoing someone else’s shoddy work is a challenge and not anyone’s cup of tea, but Fired Up accepted & prevailed with the repairs in stages to restore it to its former glory. All this needed a timeframe & accurate budget planning which they more than accomplished.
With their network of colleagues they managed to source all sorts of parts & paint.
The car has now been beautifully and thoroughly restored and goes like a rocket… well more like a plucky Morris Traveller. Not only does it look good but they attended to the engine and it feels really good and safe now and should outlast me.
There is nothing like good restoration - the attention to detail and the sheer pleasure of making something “as good as new” as well as useful is really uplifting.
